The Southern Illinois Spinners and Weavers (SISAW) Guild will be holding a fiber fair, Saturday, May 10, 10:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. at Fort Massac in Metropolis, Illinois.  Area spinners, knitters, weavers and fiber producers are participating in the guilds first Fiber Fair.  Shetland fleeces, hand spun yarn,  wool roving, drop spindles, needle felting supplies, hand knit items, dye plants, hand made baskets, herbs and hand made soap are just some of the unique items that will be offered for sale by Red Hill Farm, Pala Place, Treadled Treasures and guild members.  Demonstrations will go on during the day.
